Silico® Alkyl Alkoxy Modified Silicones Fluid

Silico alkyl silicone fluids are long-chain modified silicones, where some methyl groups are replaced by alkyl groups. This structure enhances mold release, lubricity, and antifouling properties.

  • Industrial Use: Ideal for use in release agents, lubricants, anti-sticking agents, and additives for metal die casting (aluminum, zinc, magnesium), tiles, gaskets, toys, and rubber components.

  • Defoamer Applications: Used in coatings, latexes, and inks as a defoaming agent. Offers good organic compatibility without affecting surface treatments.

  • Personal Care: Offers better compatibility, gloss, and lubricity than methyl silicone oils. Octyl silicone fluid is suitable as a lipophilic emulsifier in cosmetic formulas.
