Silico Epoxy Terminated Silicone Oil
Silico® epoxy-terminated silicone oil is produced through a hydrosilylation reaction using hydrogen-terminated silicone oil. This highly reactive silicone oil is ideal for fiber fabric finishing, reacting with hydroxyl, amino, and carboxyl groups on fiber surfaces, providing durable softness without yellowing. The treated fabric is washable and maintains its soft feel.
Unlike traditional amino silicone oils, which lack hydrophilicity and can yellow, Silico’s epoxy-terminated silicone oil offers enhanced hydrophilicity and improved emulsification without yellowing. This makes it a superior choice for silicone softeners.
Silico’s ternary copolymerized silicone oil combines epoxy-terminated silicone oil and amino-terminated polyether silicone oil. This blend provides better affinity with fabrics, better emulsification stability, and reduces yellowing. It is an ideal solution for achieving soft, hydrophilic effects without the need for emulsifiers.

Alkyl Alkoxy Modified Silicones Fluid: Guide
Epoxy silicone fluids are advanced materials that combine silicone’s stability with reactive epoxy groups. They offer excellent thermal stability, flexibility, and chemical resistance, making them ideal for coatings, adhesives, sealants, and textiles. These fluids serve as intermediates in silicone-based material synthesis, enhancing adhesion, durability, and resistance. Key factors to consider include viscosity, molecular weight, and silicone-to-epoxy ratio, as they affect reactivity, curing behavior, and compatibility with other resins, ensuring high-performance results in various applications.
