Applications
Silico® PC19816 (CAS No. 70131-69-0) is an effective water-repellent additive that helps reduce formulation viscosity while offering a wide range of benefits, such as antioxidant, UV protection, breathability, softness, and smoothness. It is ideal for use in organic silicone personal care products, including moisturizers, lotions, shaving creams, and sunscreens. Additionally, it enhances the glossiness of hair care products.
Instructions for Use
Silico® PC19816 can be emulsified with common emulsifiers and methods. It is soluble in ethanol and mineral oils and exhibits excellent compatibility with other cosmetic ingredients such as isopropanol, paraffin oil, beeswax, paraffin, and lanolin.
Recommended Usage
Usage Rate: 0.5% – 5%
Packaging & Storage
Silico® PC19816 is packaged in 50 kg plastic drums or 200 kg steel drums.
Shelf Life: 2 years when stored in a dry, cool place in its original, unopened packaging at room temperature.
