Silico®-V402 Vinyl Silicone Oil

Silico®-V402 Vinyl Silicone Oil (CAS 68083-19-2) provides excellent reactivity, making it ideal for crosslinking applications, adhesives, and coatings in industrial processes. Its high reactivity and compatibility with other materials ensure reliable performance across diverse industries.

Features:

Silico®-V402 (CAS 68083-19-2) is a vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane with the molecular structure:

(CH2=CH)Si(CH3)2O[(CH3)2SiO]nSi(CH3)3

The molecular weight can be tailored according to user requirements. Due to its unique structure, this product serves as an excellent, reactive intermediate material. In addition to the general properties of methyl silicone oils, such as smoothness, softness, gloss, and resistance to temperature and weather, the vinyl groups at both ends offer high reactivity. It can undergo rapid addition reactions with hydrogen-containing silicone oils (with the help of catalysts) and participate in a variety of other reactions.
