Silico® N3221-1 Amino Silicone Emulsion is derived from emulsifying Silico® N322-0.12 amino silicone oil. It retains the hydrophobic and release properties of dimethyl silicone oil while offering enhanced reactivity, softness, adhesion, lubrication, and gloss. Ideal for high-end hair care, textile finishing, and leather or wood surface treatment.
Description
Silico® N3221-1 is an amino silicone emulsion made by emulsifying Silico® N322-0.12 amino silicone oil. It retains all the excellent properties of dimethyl silicone oil, such as hydrophobicity and mold release, while incorporating polar amino groups to provide reactivity, adsorption, softness, lubrication, and gloss. This emulsion can be directly added to formulations for easier use.

Applications
Hair Care Products: Enhances softness, smoothness, and shine in high-end shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Reduces combing force, is anti-static, and wash-resistant.
Textile Finishing: Provides softness, smoothness, and elasticity to fabrics like cotton, wool, hemp, and silk. Ideal for high-end fabric softeners and finishing agents.
Surface Treatment: Used for polishing and protecting wood, leather, and flooring.
Other Applications: Additional uses are in development.
Usage Instructions
Hair Care: Add 0.5-1% based on solid content to shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, or mousses.
Textile Finishing: Use 0.3-1% (solid content) in water-based formulations depending on fabric and processing requirements.
Leather & Wood: Apply directly or dilute with 1-2 parts distilled water. Spray and dry for effective softening and smoothness.
Precautions
Not suitable for treating white or light-colored fabrics due to the risk of yellowing at high temperatures.
Avoid contact with strong acids and alkalis.
Packaging, Storage & Shelf Life
Packaging: Available in 50kg and 200kg plastic drums.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not store near strong acids or alkalis. Shelf life is 12 months from the production date in unopened packaging.
Transportation
Transport as a non-hazardous material.
