Fluorosilicone Fluids by Silico
Fluorosilicone fluids contain trifluoropropyl groups, enhancing their resistance to non-polar solvents, fuels, oils, acids, and alkalis. These fluids combine the benefits of fluorocarbon and silicone fluid for harsh applications.
Silico® fluorosilicone fluids, designed for extreme conditions ranging from -40°C to 230°C, offer excellent chemical and solvent resistance, low surface tension, lubricity, and thermal stability. They are resistant to gasoline, kerosene, mineral oil lubricants, synthetic lubricants, and most organic solvents.
Silico® FF9020, a trimethyl terminated poly(methyl-trifluoropropyl) siloxane, excels as a lubricant under extreme pressures. It is also ideal for solvent antifoaming in the chemical and petroleum industries.
Silico® VF6960, a vinyl fluorosilicone fluid, is used as an intermediate for fluorosilicon polymerization, fabric finishing for hydrophobicity and oleophobicity, defoaming in organic solvents, and as a release agent.
