Dimethyldiethoxysilane (CAS 78-62-6), also known as Diethoxydimethylsilane, is a monomeric alkoxy silane with two ethyl groups, widely recognized as an equivalent to ShinEtsu KBE-22.
This compound is used as a structure control agent and chain extender in silicone rubber production, enhancing mechanical properties and extending the shelf life of the material.
