Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin Describe
Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin is a light yellow to colorless transparent liquid known for its excellent high and low-temperature resistance, waterproof, and moisture-proof properties. It also provides good electrical insulation.
This resin can surface dry at room temperature and, after complete curing, achieves high hardness (≥2H), a high luster (emitting a milky white shine), and no mechanical impurities, ensuring a smooth, full finish. Ideal for applications requiring durability, finish quality, and electrical insulation.

Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin R2146A
Product Description:
Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin R2146A offers excellent high and low-temperature resistance, water repellency, and moisture resistance. It also boasts outstanding weatherability and chemical resistance, making it ideal for extreme conditions. The resin dries quickly at room temperature and, once fully cured, achieves high hardness (≥ 2H), high gloss, and excellent color retention.
This resin is widely used in high-temperature resistant coatings and weather-resistant coatings that can withstand 200-400°C temperatures. When combined with a polyurethane curing agent (e.g., 3390), it forms a durable polysiloxane topcoat.
Technical Index:
Property | Value |
---|---|
Appearance | Light yellow to colorless transparent liquid, allows milky white light, no mechanical impurities |
Solid Content | 50±1% |
Viscosity (at 25°C) | 80~160 (Apply 4 cups) |

Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin : Guide
Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin combined with a polyurethane curing agent (e.g., 3390) forms a polysiloxane topcoat after full curing. It is widely used in high-temperature resistant coatings (200-400°C) and super weather-resistant coatings. The final coatings offer excellent light and color retention, with temperature resistance reaching over 500°C.
Caution:
- The dilution solvent must be free from water, sulfur-containing compounds, pyridine, and related impurities, as these may impact adhesion, drying, and other properties of the resin paint film.
- During processing, xylene and other flammable, toxic solvents will volatilize. Ensure adequate ventilation, fire safety, and eliminate any fire sources.
