Silico® V411 Vinyl Silicone Oil (Branched Type)
Silico® V4011 is a vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane emulsion, inheriting the key properties of Silico® V401 vinyl silicone oil. It offers excellent lubricity, softness, gloss, and heat/weather resistance. The terminal vinyl groups provide strong reactivity for addition reactions and better compatibility with organic materials compared to traditional methyl silicone oil, making it ideal for advanced formulations and industrial applications.
Product Features
Silico® V4011 is an emulsion of vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), inheriting the properties of Silico® V401 vinyl silicone oil. It serves as a highly reactive intermediate with excellent compatibility and versatility in various formulations.
In addition to the general characteristics of methyl silicone oil—such as lubricity, softness, gloss, and resistance to heat and weathering—Silico® V4011 offers several distinct advantages:
The terminal vinyl groups exhibit strong reactivity, enabling fast addition reactions with hydrogen-containing silicone fluids under catalytic conditions, as well as participation in various other chemical processes.
Unlike branched vinyl silicones, this linear structure has no pendant side chains, enhancing performance consistency.
Improved compatibility with organic materials compared to traditional methyl silicone oil, facilitating better formulation with diverse systems.
Additional performance benefits suitable for advanced material development and industrial applications.
