PM-50 Phenylmethyl Silicone Fluid
PPM-500 Silicone Fluid is a clear, colorless, and odorless Phenylmethyl Silicone Oil with a viscosity of 500 cSt at 25°C. By replacing the Methyl groups found in conventional PDMS silicone oils with Phenyl groups, PPM-500 significantly enhances thermal stability and oxidation resistance. It provides long-term stability at 250°C (open air) and 300°C (closed system).
This fluid also features a high flash point, high dielectric strength, and excellent stability under extreme pressures. With good heat capacity, superior lubricity, and inertness to virtually all substrates, PPM-500 is ideal for high-performance applications that require reliable operation under extreme temperatures.

PPM-500 Phenylmethyl Silicone Fluid is a high phenyl content silicone fluid offering superior thermal stability compared to conventional PDMS oils. It remains stable at 250°C (open system) and 300°C (closed system). Its viscosity decreases quickly when heated, making it ideal for high-temperature laboratory baths and heat transfer systems. However, it is not suitable for cold-temperature systems due to significant viscosity increase at low temperatures.
Used as a calibration fluid, PPM-500 excels in Flow Control, Temperature Control, and Motion Control applications. It does not break down at high temperatures or coagulate under pressure, making it perfect for instruments, sensors, gauges, and devices exposed to extreme conditions.
With an RI of 1.533, PPM-500 is ideal for RI index matching and optical applications in sensor, imaging, LED, and photonics technologies.
