Phenyl MQ Silicone Resin
Silico® Phenyl MQ Silicone Resin is a high-quality methyl-phenyl MQ resin with phenyl-modified M and Q units. It offers excellent heat and UV resistance, high refractive index (1.53–1.54), strong film hardness, and low volatility. Ideal for LED encapsulation, UV coatings, PSAs, release liners, and insulation.
Product Overview
Silico® Phenyl MQ Silicone Resin is a premium-grade methyl-phenyl MQ-type organosilicon resin composed of monofunctional trimethylsiloxy (M) units and tetrafunctional siloxane (Q) units, partially substituted with phenyl groups. This structure delivers exceptional thermal stability, UV resistance, high refractive index (1.53–1.54), excellent film hardness, and low volatility.
Thanks to its outstanding compatibility with other silicones and polymers, Silico® Phenyl MQ Silicone Resin is widely used in:
High-temperature resistant and UV-curable coatings
LED encapsulation materials and optical adhesives
Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs)
Release liners and electrical insulation systems
