Ideal for waterproofing textiles, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, cosmetics, and stone. Also used in hydrosilylation and silicone rubber crosslinking.
Description
Silico® H2021D is a key component in multi-part silicone release coating systems. Thanks to its reactive Si-H groups, it enables low-temperature crosslinking and forms strong hydrophobic films. It exhibits excellent waterproofing, film-forming, and chemical reactivity.

Applications
Waterproofing Agent: Forms a durable waterproof film at low temperature under metal salt catalysis. Suitable for textiles, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metals, cement, marble, and cosmetics like lipsticks.
Hydrosilylation Raw Material: Used in synthesizing modified silicone oils and as a crosslinker in addition-cure silicone rubbers.

Usage Instructions
Apply directly or dilute with water depending on the application and environment.
Suitable for surface treatment, coating, or formulation integration.
Precautions
Due to active hydrogen content, the product is not highly stable. It is recommended for immediate use after preparation.
To enhance stability, adjust pH to 4–6 or add acetaldehyde.
Avoid long-term storage.
