Silico® | FH20789 Hydride-Terminated Fluorosilicone Fluid
Silico® FH20789 (CAS 68952-30-7) is a hydride-terminated fluorosilicone with reactive Si–H groups, ideal for platinum-catalyzed curing. It offers fuel, oil, and solvent resistance, low surface energy, and thermal stability, making it suitable for elastomers, coatings, and sealants in aerospace and electronics.
Product Introduction
Silico® FH20789 (CAS 68952-30-7) is a high-performance hydride-terminated poly(trifluoropropylmethylsiloxane) fluid featuring reactive Si–H functional groups at the chain ends. This specialty fluorosilicone polymer is designed for use in platinum-catalyzed addition cure systems, enabling crosslinking with vinyl-functional polymers or surface modification of fillers.
Thanks to its trifluoropropyl side chains, Silico® FH20789 delivers excellent resistance to fuels, oils, solvents, and harsh chemicals, while maintaining low surface energy and outstanding thermal stability across a wide temperature range. It is especially suitable for the production of fuel-resistant silicone elastomers, high-performance coatings, sealants, and potting compounds used in aerospace, automotive, and electronic applications.
