Industrial Grade LSR Silicone Rubber
Silico® Industrial LSR: Two-part, 1:1 mix, fast-curing liquid silicone rubber for injection molding. Offers high thermal stability, strength, and flowability—ideal for automotive, electronics, and industrial parts.
Product Overview
Industrial Grade Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a two-component, addition-cured silicone elastomer developed for precision injection molding in high-volume industrial production. It offers excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, and dimensional consistency, making it ideal for use in automotive, electronics, mechanical seals, connectors, and other general industrial applications.
Silico® Industrial LSR features a 1:1 mix ratio (Part A & B), fast curing characteristics, and superior flow behavior, enabling flash-free molding, short cycle times, and automated production with minimal post-processing.

Key Features & Technical Benefits
High Thermal Resistance: Continuous use at 200 °C, short-term exposure up to 250 °C
Excellent Mechanical Properties: High tear strength, tensile strength, and elongation
Outstanding Aging Resistance: UV, ozone, and weather-resistant for long-term outdoor use
Electrical Insulation: Stable dielectric properties across wide temperature ranges
Easy Processing: Low viscosity, rapid injection, and self-releasing from mold
Low Compression Set: Maintains shape and sealing performance over time
Application Fields
Industrial-grade LSR is engineered for demanding applications where heat, chemical exposure, or mechanical stress is involved:
Automotive Components: Grommets, ignition seals, sensor boots, vent valves
Electrical and Electronic Devices: Cable connectors, insulation boots, gaskets
Industrial Sealing: O-rings, static and dynamic seals, diaphragms, valve seats
Appliances & Equipment: High-heat pads, anti-vibration mounts, HVAC system parts
General Molding: Industrial plugs, housings, keypads, and rubberized components
Processing Guidelines
Silico® Industrial LSR is suitable for standard Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) systems. Recommendations:
Injection temperature: 20–30 °C (barrel cooled)
Mold temperature: 150–180 °C
Demolding time: 20–60 seconds
Mixing: Dynamic/static mixers, 1:1 metering pump
Mold design: Venting recommended; parting lines should be optimized for flash-free molding
No post-curing is required for most industrial applications unless specified for ultra-low volatility.
