Silico® ETE302G-2 Polyether-Epoxy Co-Modified Silicone Oil
Silico® ETE302G-2 Polyether-Epoxy Modified Silicone Oil is a new organic silicone material combining polysiloxane, epoxy, and polyether. It offers excellent softness, lubrication, low surface tension, UV resistance, and high/low-temperature stability. Epoxy groups provide reactivity and bonding, while polyether enhances hydrophilicity, antistatic properties, and compatibility with polar materials, ensuring long-lasting smoothness and durability.
Performance Characteristics
Polyether-epoxy modified silicone oil is a novel organic silicone material synthesized by incorporating polyether and epoxy compounds into the polysiloxane backbone. It combines the advantages of polysiloxane, epoxy compounds, and polyether:
Polysiloxane provides excellent softness, lubrication, low surface tension, UV resistance, aging resistance, and high/low-temperature stability.
Epoxy groups offer reactivity and strong bonding capabilities.
Polyether groups provide hydrophilicity, anti-static properties, and compatibility with polar organic materials.
This combination results in superior softness, smoothness, hydrophilicity, mold release properties, and long-lasting durability.

Applications
Epoxy Resin Modification: Due to the “rotatable, sliding” structure of the polysiloxane chain, it primarily eliminates stress, enhances flowability, and improves heat resistance. Can be used in combination with epoxy resin and aminosilane coupling agents in EMC encapsulation materials.
Fiber Treatment: The epoxy groups react with -OH, -NH2, and -NH groups on fiber surfaces to provide durability. The polysiloxane backbone offers softness and smoothness, while polyether provides hydrophilicity and antistatic properties.
Other unlisted or developing applications.
Usage & Dosage
Resin Modification: Direct addition, recommended dosage: 0.1-5%.
Fabric Finishing & Fiber Treatment (mixed with other resins): Recommended dosage: 1-5%.
Precautions
- Prolonged storage or mixing with acid/base substances may increase viscosity, which may enhance the softener’s effectiveness but could negatively affect other applications. Specific effects should be verified through preliminary experiments.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: Available in 50kg plastic drums and 200kg galvanized steel drums.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place below 35°C, away from oxidizing chemicals. Protect from direct sunlight.
Transport: Non-hazardous material for transportation.
