Key Features & Advantages

  • Rapid foam knockdown: Delivers fast and efficient foam control even at low dosage levels.

  • Long-lasting foam suppression: Excellent persistence and stability under harsh operating conditions.

  • Thermal and chemical resistance: Ideal for high-temperature and high-alkali systems.

  • Excellent compatibility: Works well with a wide range of aqueous and non-aqueous formulations.

  • Flexible formulation options: Suitable for pure silicone, emulsions, modified fluids, and compound blends.

  • Cost-effective: High performance with low dosage, reducing overall production costs.

  • Environmentally friendly options: Low-VOC, low-toxicity, and easy to handle in water-based systems.

Typical Applications

  • Coatings & Paints – Prevents foam formation during mixing, filling, and application.

  • Adhesives & Sealants – Improves surface quality and production efficiency.

  • Textile & Dyeing – Ensures smooth processing without foam interference.

  • Wastewater Treatment – Effective foam suppression in aeration tanks and treatment systems.

  • Petrochemical & Refining – Performs well in high-temperature and high-pH conditions.

  • Fermentation & Food Processing – Safe and stable foam control.

  • Cleaning & Detergent Formulations – Provides stable defoaming without residue.

Usage Guidelines

  • Recommended Dosage:

    • Typically 0.05–0.5% of the total formulation, depending on system foaming tendency.

    • Start with a small dosage and adjust gradually for optimal performance.

  • Application Method:

    • Add Silico® silicone oil or emulsion directly to the system before foam generation for best knockdown.

    • For high-viscosity systems, pre-dilution or use of emulsified defoamers is recommended.

    • In continuous processes, defoamers can be metered continuously to maintain stable foam control.

  • Storage & Handling:

    • Store in sealed containers at 5–35 °C.

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, strong acids, or alkalis.

    • Mix gently before use to ensure uniform performance.

Packaging & Storage

  • 25 kg drum

  • 200 kg steel drum

  • 1,000 kg IBC tote (custom bulk packaging available)

Safety & Handling
