Usage Guidelines
Recommended Dosage:
Typically 0.05–0.5% of the total formulation, depending on system foaming tendency.
Start with a small dosage and adjust gradually for optimal performance.
Application Method:
Add Silico® silicone oil or emulsion directly to the system before foam generation for best knockdown.
For high-viscosity systems, pre-dilution or use of emulsified defoamers is recommended.
In continuous processes, defoamers can be metered continuously to maintain stable foam control.
Storage & Handling:
Store in sealed containers at 5–35 °C.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, strong acids, or alkalis.
Mix gently before use to ensure uniform performance.
