3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (CAS 13822-56-5) is a functional silane with amino and methoxy groups. The amino group reacts with various organic resins, including epoxy, acrylic, and phenolic polymers. The trimethoxy group allows it to hydrolyze quickly, improving bonding to inorganic substrates with enhanced wettability and compatibility.
