Amino Silane
Amino silane coupling agent is a difunctional hindered amine silane that features both a secondary amino group and a hindered ammonia group. The spatial hindrance reduces the activity of the amino acid’s active hydrogen, making it less prone to oxidation and discoloration.
This special amino silane undergoes polymerization to form a unique aminosilicone oil, which is then formulated into a microemulsion. This treatment improves fabric performance by preventing yellowing and offering enhanced stain resistance, making it ideal for light-colored fabric finishing.

Amino Silane: Guide
Amino Silane is a bifunctional silane with amino groups and methoxyl-free silanes that bonds inorganic materials (e.g., glass, metals, ceramics) to organic polymers (e.g., thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers). This colorless liquid is used as a primer, tackifier, and surface modifier, improving adhesion, corrosion protection, and crosslinking in silicone polymers.
Applications:
- Bonds inorganic materials to organic polymers.
- Used as a primer in adhesives and sealants.
- Pre-treatment of fillers and pigments in composites.
- Additive in paints and coatings for better adhesion.
