Phenyl Silane
Phenylsilane is a colorless, transparent liquid and a key silicone intermediate used as a hydrogenation reagent and raw material for silicone surfactants. It also serves as a reducing agent, photopolymerizes with methyl methacrylate (MMA), and acts as a silica source for synthesizing Si nanowires.
Applications:
- Reducing agent for phosphine oxide in polymers.
- Used in photopolymerization with MMA for SiH-containing polymers.
- Source of silica for Si nanowire synthesis.
