Methyl Low Hydrogen Silicone Oil Description
Hydroxy Silicone Oil is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with hydroxyl groups (-OH) at both ends of the molecular chain, chemical formula: HO-(CH₃)₂SiOₙ-(CH₃)₂SiOH. This structure provides it with excellent electrical insulation properties, high and low-temperature resistance, and the ability to remain stable in extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C to +250°C. It has a high flash point and low pour point.
Hydroxy Silicone Oil also features low viscosity-temperature coefficients, large compressibility, low surface tension, good hydrophobicity, moisture resistance, chemical inertness, and physiological inertness.
